It's an awsome truck. The motor is dang near bullet proof. Its an old truck that drives like an old truck, you cant push it to hard because it just cant handle the revs on the motor. Its got a 3.4 liter V6 thats heavy on torque but lite on power. Good trans, decent transfer but its still way to top heavy for my liking but what do you expect from a 4X4?

Pros: excelent off road decent on the highway.
Cons: not exactly a "cool" truck

Can't stand this vehicle. If I were to describe it in one word,
it would be "Adequate". But nothing more. Underpowered,
harsh riding, uncomfortable for anything more than short
trips, overly high centre of gravity. Squeaks and rattles
abound. Ride is so harsh I have to check to make sure my
internal organs are still in place after a drive. Leather seats
are hard and slippery - would make great material for a
waterslide, not seats. Interior plastics are cheap-looking and
ugly. Styling is boring, though the original colour (burgundy
red) is kind of nice. I'm glad my parents are this vehicle's
owners, and not me.

Pros: Nice colour. Paint has held up over time.
Cons: Harsh ride, weak engine, poor build quality.

While its not really meant for performance, on a good day, its got some kick to it. Had some repairs, but completly solid. Beautiful custom orange paint and black nascar hauler rims with 245mm pathfinder sport suv tires. ~18 mpg city and ~26 hwy. no thats not backwards. SO much fun to drive! 5spd manual, Its not 4wd, and still is extremely capable.

Pros: capability, looks, lifetime, future-classic suv
Cons: mpg, oil leaks, old-ish and comes with old-ish problems

It's been a great truck to me. Still trying to repair quirks left over from the last owner, but its coming along. I bought the truck in 12/2007 with 216K on it, and have put 11k in under a year. It's a fun car to drive, decent on and off road performance, my biggest complaint is the 14mpg average.

Pros: fun factor, cargo space, person space
Cons: gas milage, rear seat access, snapped manifold studs
