Love the engine though it was not 100% when I bought it. I can feel it's once lingering "special edition-ness" when I go for city driving.

Everyone says that Nissan makes the most reliable engines ever; and they weren't lying. My mom still drives this, and even with its 175,000 miles on it, I've never had to repair it (myself or for her). The paintjob's clearcoat seems to have suffered, and that may pose rust problems in the future, but it's a very comfortable and sound car otherwise. Despite its reliability, it suffers a little in fuel efficiency as compared to the other 4-cyl sedans that I've owned.

Very reliable, great size inside and out. I loved this car and took care of it, sold in back in 2004. I would definately own another Altima, newer of course.

z-3 fenders, angel eye headlights, neutron r type exhaust, carbon fiber hood, racing clutch, brembo slotted cross drilled.... She handled, and stopped on a dime, but only being a 2.4 the high 15 seconds she ran were not that impressive
