Altima must mean reliable in Japanese
Have owned the car for almost 100k now, 130k on the Odometer, and have done nothing but general maintenance. Starts every time, great gas mileage, and very comfortable.
Pros: Reliable
Cons: No complaints yet!

1999 Used Nissan Altima 4 Dr GXE Sedan:
Dependable, quality car
Mine has 140K+ miles on it and it still runs great. If well maintained, this car will last a long time.
Pros: Great brakes, handling, dependable
Cons: exterior gets damaged easily...i have a couple of scratches/dents from stuff that shouldn't have dented/scratched it

it doesnt get very good gas milege its pretty sluggish.
Pros: not much
Cons: no gas milege for the size
