1997 Mitsubishi Diamante Reviews

Its good for what I paid ($2450). It goes 0-60 in about 7 seconds. Thats pretty good for a 4 door if you ask me. It has 210 HP and 231 Torque. It has 66k miles on rebuilt engine and trans (220k+ on odometer). Its built pretty solid and rides really smooth. So far I have put new brake pads on, new rotors, and a set of tires on it. Its absolutly great on gas for a 3.0 V6. I get between 20-25mpg. Thats 380-475 miles on a single 19 gallon tank full of premium. This car is loaded with features! It has electronic climate control, heated rearview mirrors, leather seat, a sunroof, good trunk space, power seats with memory settings, and a built in 3 way garage door opener.

My god I loved this car.  It is still sitting in my garage because I refuse to sell it.  She has over 250,000 miles on it and she is still kicking.  This car is the reason why I became a Mitsubishi nut.  3.5l V6 6G74 which is the 6G72 just bored and stroked to 3.5 which is Mitsu's crowning acheivment in 6 cylinders.  The only thing I didnt like about this car is that it was Automatic.  A 5 speed option like those Aussie bastards have would have made this the perfect car.  One key that I did love though was the adaptive shift control which allowed the computer to shift according to your driving habits (Mine was always in the redline) and you will never feal a bump of it.  
   I never had as many problems with this car as I do my Lancer.  The motor was really crafted well and it responded to my foot really well.  Only 210hp but 210 torque more then well makes up for it and is alot more then other cars in its class can claim.  The color stayed nice and white, and still shows little to no rust an S+ car.
