At 40 mpg, I can't afford not to own and drive this car.

Install an Escort GT motor, bigger brakes and wheels, and KYB struts on all all four corners, and this little car will surprise a lot of people... factory its a little slow on acceleration and handling is sluggish, but these have a lot of potential.
Pros:
reliable, fun to drive, unique, affordable, great on gas (45 factory, 35 with my current setup)
Cons:
most people don't like them, and they are often incorrectly called "fiestas" or even worse "metros"

Not much to tell you here. A solid little car. UNBEATABLE gas mileage.

Great mileage, handled like a dream
Cons:
Ugly slow econobox.
