200,000+ miles and going strong
Never left me stranded. solid built frame over rwd vehicle . OK get up and go but ford should have used PI heads like on newer crown vics and mustangs at the time. stock single exhaust sucks. AODE tranny known or lockup/torque converter issues. Tonnes of room, nicely equiped for a car at that time.
Pros: Quiet/smooth ride. Highway fuel economy, trunk/interior space and options.
Cons: Notorious 4.6 modular valve seals and AODE torque converter issues.
