She handles just as well as the day my dad brought her home, 13 and a half years ago. At comfortable acceleration she does 0-60 in 8 seconds, but when you floor her, she can do 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds (I've timed it).  When you floor her, she lets you and anyone around you know that she's packing serious heat under the hood. She handles beautifully, responding immediately to the most subtle turn of the the steering wheel. With four large anti-lock disk brakes, she can practically stop on a dime.
Of this model of Thunderbird, from 1988 to 1997, this year was the best looking, from her strong aggressive front end to her huge dual exhaust pipes.
The interior is modest, mostly cloth, with a black leather finish on the steering wheel and shifter. There is no CD player, but she has a kickass stereo. The driver's and copilot's seat are fully adjustable (although the mechanism that controls the copilot's seat has started to fuse from overuse). The backseat is small, but that is because of the relatively large trunk, which extends right up the the back of the rear seats.

i loved my thunderbird....that thing was like a tank, i peeled a couple deer n it didnt even leave a scratch....it was ok on gas but with the prices of gas now a days whats good fer gas n e more really....took so many indian lakers!!!! so many good times eh trevor??? my thunderbird was baby blue, when ppl seen it comen they knew who it was...the car ran even better after me n my dad tore the motor apart n replaced every gasket under the hood, it was almost like a whole new car...it'll always b my fav car!!!!!!!

My Car is pretty sweet. Its just not great for snow and
montana weather. It performs well, the transmission
could be better. Its really comfy. It gets about 22 miles
to the gallon, and insurance isn't horrible. The car is
pretty fun to drive, especially when you get a chance
to zoom.

I like my thunderbird  it has  a 6 cylinder auto and it only has 24,000 miles on it motor looks brand new its a good car already went from mich to texas and back no problems the only thing i do like about my car is it not really made for towing i took a trailer down to texas and it wasnt good
