Had the straight six. Aquirred it with 160k on it. Ran it till 185k. Sister inherited it. I can only say good things about the jeep. Never quit, plenty of low end torque. That straight six will run past 250k. It was a rocket in the winter. I was once doing 60 mph down a road with three inches of snow in 4wd. just cuts through with no hint of wanting to spin out. Wish i could get more mpg's, but for an suv, 19 is not that bad. I will always want this one back. It was hard to let it go.

Its been doing its job very well since Ive had it... Lots of driving over 217000 miles... its amazing.... pick up is nice and can hold its own in speed on the highway!  Gas economy is great, a full tank gets you very far and thats great for now a days with how much the gas costs

The entire Jeep line up are made up of very ruged cars.  This car is no exception, it has a 4.0 liter inline 6 and a new borla exhaust. Overall it is a great starter car

I love this thing!!!!! I've replaced everything in this jeep except the engine, transmission, front axle housing and shafts! It has a ford 8.8 w/456s and detroit locker. A triangulated 4-link bolts up to it and helps with articulation. It is sitting on a total of 7 of lift and 36" IROKS with trailready beadlocks. Front and rear Trailready bumpers. NP231 tranfercase w/SYE. Rear cv driveshaft from carolina driveline. front axle geared to 456s and has an aussie locker. JKS rock rails. gas tank and t-case skid. 10" shocks. Warn 8000i winch.

considering mine sat out 5 hurricanes with the windows rolled down, it was in overall okay shape. i had a love/hate relationship with it. though, it's probably an excellent vehicle when it isn't on the verge of breaking down from wear&tear, mine was always on the poor side.
