1997 Jeep Cherokee Reviews
| “My Jeep” Reviewing:
1997 Used Jeep Cherokee 4 Dr Sport 4WD SUV
Acceleration is awesome along with braking. handling sucks. It's a Jeep so it always squeaks and rattles. The interior is clean and the exterior has some battle scars. Gas mileage is decent, 16 mpg. My Cherokee is fun to drive on and off the road. If you follow me, you're not gonna make it!
Pros —
a fun car to drive
Cons —
gas mileage sucks

This thing really is a great car for a first car, or to have
Pros —
Great reliability, driver friendly, you can drive it into the ground
Cons —
Kinda sluggish, and brakes are iffy, but these are just simple things to get around

1997 Used Jeep Cherokee 4 Dr Sport SUV
This was a very fun car, with lots of memories with car trips to the Florida Keys and Miami Beach.
Pros —
Solid looks, lit toggle switches for power windows.
Cons —
While not as unreliable as my Mini Cooper, this one was definitely a problem child.

It's not quite like the one in the picture. It's black, and the lift kit isn't quite as high, but I still love it! It's easy to drive and has yet to tip over on me. :]
Pros —
The lift kit makes it look better than a regular Cherokee, it's easy to drive, and it runs well. There's no big dents or scratches, either.
Cons —
The lift kit could cause it to flip if it's turned too sharply, the inside smells a bit odd (nothing bad, just... different), and there's something wrong with the battery it has now so we have to jump start it... But that's easily fixed.

There's something to be said about a design that barely changed in 15
Pros —
Pretty unstoppable, takes a beating and keeps ticking.
Cons —
Gremlins, horrible gas milage.

Pros —
Drive anywhere
Cons —
interior product quality(when comparing it to modern vehicles)

1997 Used Jeep Cherokee 4 Dr Country 4WD SUV
From road running to mud running and everything in between, this Jeep has been there and done that, and lived to do it again.
Pros —
4WD is more sure footed then a mountain goat.
Cons —
There are none

1997 Used Jeep Cherokee 4 Dr Sport 4WD SUV
Although it is a very handy car in the winter months, it is a financial burden. The thing drinks gas like a thirsty mallard drinks water. I am also not a fan of high riding SUVs. I prefer the low to the ground and smooth handling of a compact car.
Pros —
Great in the winter and can drive over anything. Also, has 210,000+ miles on it and is still going strong.
Cons —
Gas guzzler. Rough ride.
