| Reviewing:
2004 Used Jeep Liberty Renegade 4WD
I've only owned it for 7 months, but so far I love it. I wish they made the Renegade model with the diesel engine. Currently I'm averaging about 20mpg, so it isn't too bad. I took off the roof rack because I think it looks better without it. Looking at the engine, everything is fairly easy to get to and oil changes are cake. From what I've read, lifts aren't too hard to install either.
Pros —
Rides great, no mechanical problems yet, easy to work on, parts aren't expensive, looks good, does well offroad for being stock.
Cons —
None, yet.

2004 Used Jeep Liberty Sport
I have the 2.4l I4 powertech motor and it gets me around. Bad gas mileage on the V6 powertech motor. 2WD sucks but the 4WD with 2 open differentials isnt much better though. Lockers on front and back are high reccomended as even the renegade trim usually comes with 2 open differentials.
Pros —
Lots of power in the V6, Good handleing, Very Roomy, I like the dash trim, turning radius and steering wheel ease makes it easy to drive!
Cons —
Gas mileage, Poor 4WD performance,

| “I Do Miss Having A 4 Wheel Drive.” Reviewing:
2004 Used Jeep Liberty Renegade 4WD
I had 2 1/2 inch lift kit, never got around to buying the bigger tires before I traded.
Pros —
Part-time four wheel drive on the fly up to 55.
Cons —
Front ball ball joint went out with like 10,000 miles on it.
