I'll never own another ford car again Replaced the trany 3 times, if the key was in the ignition the interior dome light would alway stay on, the only way to get it to go off was to pull (and hold) the parking break leaver... "?!?"

1996 Used Ford Taurus 4 Dr GL Sedan: It's ok. like I said, It's ok. Better to look at 2005 Ford Taurus.

Cons: Acceleration, Trans ( after 100K) and other things
1996 Used Ford Taurus 4 Dr LX Sedan: Underclass Hero This is one Hell of a car. Super fast and style that will spin your head around! Its the car that say's " Hey....Lets go for a ride!

1996 Used Ford Taurus 4 Dr GL Wagon: Great to drive, hell to own My ex boss had that car and I had a chance to drive it across the country once. The car is absolutely wonderful to drive. But my boss spent a huge amount of money repairing it constantly. Therefore I can't really recomend it. If not for the technical problems, I'd love to own one.
Pros: Great to drive.
Cons: Hellish maitenance.
