1996 Used Ford Explorer 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV: Real name, Ford EXPLODER Comfortable, but the suspension is crap, the 4WD doesn't work on angles due to the vacuum lines cupping out.
Pros: Good handling, decent power for a V6, comfortable
Cons: Auto trans...gets about 10MPG
1996 Used Ford Explorer 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV: cruiser not the best mpg for what it is (4.0 V6)

Cons: rust, gas mileage, not enough power for my liking
1996 Used Ford Explorer 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV: It's on it's way to the grave. Obviously, the car in the pictures is not mine. Mine has a lot more wear on it. Has over 214,000 miles. Back hatch doesn't open, only has one wiper and gets about 10 miles to the gallon. But it's never not started and always runs strong. I'll be testing it out on my road trip in May.
Pros: It runs good.
Cons: It's a FORD.
