| “Great Car, Bad Intake” Reviewing:
1997 Used Ford Mustang 2 Dr GT Coupe
Great car. Bought car with 85,000 miles on it. Now with 104,000, it sits in my garage waiting to be sold because I can't afford so many cars. Replaced intake gaskets and now the notorious plastic intake needs to be replaced. Darn 4.6 liter plastic intakes. What was Ford thinking??

1997 Used Ford Mustang 2 Dr STD Coupe
My car is amazing, has a bit of dings in it but runs smooth and boosts at every chance she gets. Her power can be worked on but she gets up and moves. She has alot of miles on her but shes an older car and she seems to like it every step of the way.

She'll bite your ass if you dont move

Doesn't kick up enough dust for you to eat on her way out!!!

1997 Used Ford Mustang 2 Dr STD Convertible
No racecar but a blast to drive. I bought her with 36,000 miles on her and she now has over 130,000 and she never broke down on me. I would still drive her everyday. There could be a few more horses comming out of her 3.8L V-6 engine ( stock I think is only 150). She has a decent bit of body role and is a one tire fire, but I bought the car for 12,000 dollars so I can not ask for much more. She was the perfect first car and I will probably keep her forever.

This was my baby, AWSOME ride, great klo0ks, killer engine, killer torque, had LOTS of fun on it at the track n on the streets, specially beating them lil hondas n acuras lol had plans forit but the DAMN 18 wheeler messed it up. R.I.P oh its a SUPER fun car 2 drive!!

I love my car, she is perfect for what I need! I am someone who needs power but is on a budget. Luckily, I found my '97 V6 for $3,600. The gas is what you'd expect compared to a 4 cylinder but compared to a V8, it's heaven. I get American muscle without the debt for gas. It hasn't been too awful to maintain either but there are always parts that you want to buy.
Pros —
powerful, affordable muscle car - good acceleration - easy to modify
Cons —
stock V6 rims - dual exhaust needs work

A 1997 Mustang GT Coupe in Black, 5 speed Manual. 4.6L Ford Racing Crate V8 Engine. Flowmaster Catback, Eibach Springs, Shelby Shift Knob, White Face Gauges, MAC Intake, MSD Ignition, Drilled and Slotted Rotors all around, Pro 5.0 Shifter. A great car that's easy to love. It made wonderful sounds whether at full throttle or just burbling around town. Rough around the edges; material quality was only sub-par, but it is a Mustang. Solid Axle makes for interesting handling, but it still went around corners with some of the very best. Incredible straight line speed. Back seats are rendered completely useless, much better for a bag or a very small child. Trunk isn't much better as it's completely taken up by 4 amplifiers and the sub woofers for the Mach 460 Sound system, which happens to be one of the best stock systems available. Rattled, clanged, squeaked, and rumbled it's way down side streets, through allies, and into neighborhoods. A wonderful car that is dearly missed.

Incredible straight line speed, out-of-this-world fun factor, makes great noises, will still return 26mpg on the freeway, great sound system, cool factor

Suspension will rattle your fillings loose over rough pavement, live axle makes for less than predictable handling

1997 Used Ford Mustang 2 Dr GT Coupe
I bought this car with 125k miles. There is no leaks except for rear differential which is an easy fix. I have put on a MAC H pipe custom exhaust with out catylatic converters and it sounds like a cobra. Since it sounds like a cobra why not make it look like on with the cobra front end, suspension, brakes, emblems, and decals. Every person asks me if this is a cobra and I say in ways. This car may sound tough but it is slow. Yeah so what if you can floor it at 20 mph in first gear and the tires will smoke. I was going 120 mph and shifted into 5th and the cars front end sank faster than weights in water. So this car has been a great to me with 185k miles and still no leaks. I fixed the rear differential and only replaced a clutch and a key phob. This car is reliable, sick, and the coolest car to be made.

Reliable, Looks, Modifications you can perform, and the price of everything from the mods to the car its all cheap
Cons —
GAS MILEAGE!! paint, light rear end, and the leather interior goes bad along with the console

Car was very slow as it was a V6 and at the time I owned it little to no performance parts were out. If it had been a GT or SVT Cobra I might still own it.

Black and looked good and it was a MANUAL!
