This car was very nice. Everything had a sturdy build feel and nice appearance. It was a base 2.7L so the performance was lacking a bit. It was fun to floor it though. I want to drive the 6.1L SRT one now!

Pros: Looks
Cons: Lack of performance in base model

I've been quite unfriendly regarding my own opinions of Chrysler. I hated the Nitro, I can't forgive the Caliber, the Caravan relied on a gimmick and the Sebring I believe is the worst car I've ever driven. I've always tried not to bash a car until I've driven it, the 300 was one of them. I've heard it was one of the best among the very bad lineup Chrysler now has. If this was a bad car, Chrysler was more screwed then I thought.

I'm glad to say I liked this massive beast of a car. It has done everything that none of the newer Chrysler designs has done. The interior for instance, a better arrangement between cheap and nice materials. No stupid bowls like the Caliber, ergonomically designed seats unlike the Sebring's torture seat. Yes the cheap plastics in this car are like all the other Chryslers but this car isn't covered in it like a Caliber. I haven't encountered missing pieces yet, a good sign.

Performance-wise, normally Chrysler V6s have had trouble moving Chryslers heavy cars. I know the Sebring does a lousy job with its V6. The 300...with the 3.5L V6 it actually moved quite decently. The cornering is a bit compromised because the 300 is so heavy. There's some steering feel to it, making it more engaging than every other Chrysler I've driven. This car proves that RWD still has its purpose that FWD still could not replace. Its a bit of a fuel sipper though.

If I had to choose any Chrysler product excluding the Viper, the 300 is what I'd choose. No other Chrysler car or SUV is on the same level as this car is.

Pros: Moves pretty briskly, good looking, comfortable, drives quite nicely, RWD
Cons: Plastics are cheap, very large in size, heavy, not too fuel efficient
