| “Great Car” Reviewing:
1999 Used Honda Accord 4 Dr EX Sedan
This is my wife's car. We have always loved it. It is a 4 cylinder, but it has enough giddy up to get you where you need to be. We have kept up with the usual routine maintenance, and are very pleased. It has been a relatively inexpensive car to own. The gas mileage is very reasonable and is very dependable.
Pros —
good gas mileage, comfortable, dependable, stylish

None to speak of.

1999 Used Honda Accord 2 Dr EX V6 Coupe
This was my second Accord Coupe, so that should tell you something right off the bat. I loved the look of this car from the day it came out, and think it still looks pretty good for being 10 years old. It's the V6, so it makes about 200 HP. It's a fun and sporty drive, but not high performance by any stretch. Still, for being pretty sporty it gets about 30 mpg on the highway, and 23-24 mpg around town, if I behave and don't stomp on it too much.
Pros —
Fun to drive. Good Mileage. Still looks good after 10 years.
Cons —
Paint Issues. Power window failures.

1999 Used Honda Accord 2 Dr EX V6 Coupe
200hp on this car is nioce, just enough to handle and just enough to beat them civics and such. The automatic transmission is pretty much the only problem with this car... But this car is a blast to drive. The car looks freaking amazing, but I'd go for the 01-02 year model, because the front bumper looks a lot more sexy.

1999 Used Honda Accord 2 Dr EX Coupe
This is actually my wife's car, but oh well. This car has been great to her and me and I hope to have this car for many years to come. It is a little sluggish on steep hills, but then again so are most four cylinders. I have had it up to 135 mph and it handles like a dream. Gets great gas mileage and is comfortable to drive/ride in.
Pros —
Reliable, minimal repairs
Cons —
cruise control shifts out of overddrive way too soon

1999 Used Honda Accord 4 Dr LX Sedan
31+ mpg. The manual states a 7500 mile service interval but I change oil every 5000. Simple to replace headlights and taillights, not so simple to replace turn signal lights. Smooth and forgiving 5-speed manual transmission. Good build quality -- no rattles; a small squeak in the driver's seat; easy to dent and tear body panels and bumpers; solid "thump" when you close the doors. Exterior styling is a bit bland but not dated. Wish a more luxurious interior was available when I bought the car, but the ergonomics are good. Easy to drive, easy to park.
Pros —

Easy to dent. More basic than luxurious.

1999 Used Honda Accord 4 Dr EX Sedan
All I was told by friends is that it made them think about sex... The little four banger was tweaked and sounded like an SCCA race car. With all the suspension mods (tokiko all around) the car felt like a Mini Cooper. For an automatic tranny, you could easily launch from neutral at 4000 rpm and not hear a single gring or bang. Great car!
Pros —
Excellent base car to start mods. High reving VTEC 2.3 lt inline 4 (the V6 is too nose heavy). Full exhaust from header to tail pipes. 4-2-1 header and 2 1/4" stainless exhaust. Custom fabricated cool air intake tube. Dropped it 1 1/4" front and 1 1/2" rear. Handled like a slot car. Strut tower braces and swaybar bushings.
Cons —
It was black (showed every blemish), automatic tranny.
