2001 Used Honda S2000 Base
Awesome car...theres nothing like revving it to 9000 in 3rd gear. Its a beauty to look at, cheap to fill up, fun to drive, and i just dropped about 1500$ on a system. the car is perfect for me at 5'7'' but mite be uncomfortable for someone 6' or taller.

premium, but still gets about 24 mpg

Quite possibly the best handling car in it's class with one of the smoothest 6 speeds I've ever driven. Wave goodbye to overpriced Boxters and Z4s whose performance falls short. This is a pure roadster with Honda reliability. You have to give props to Honda for giving their all in this car. Happy 50th bday! 9000rpm, 120hp/L, Front Midship RWD. This car is amazing.
Pros —
Razor-sharp handling, great acceleration, incredible transmission, 9000rpm, Honda reliability.
Cons —
Hard to think of any except for those inherent in all roadsters, practicality, a power hardtop would have been nice.

True Perfection. Revs like a Suzuki GSXR. Corners damn near like one too. Very comfortable for a tiny car. Of course, you also get Honda's bulletproof reliability and tight fit & finish. Everything feels like quality. It's tough to stop smiling when you get out of this sweet ride. Drive it like you stole it.

2001 Used Honda S2000 Base
Second time round, and i've let someone else spend the bucks on mods. All the same mods as my old one. But this one's in better condition, and also has '07 tail lights and rear bar fitted. There will still be a large change in mods, as some mods performed were probably better left standard especially the coil overs fitted, are a big let down.
Pros —
Sideways demon, fun factor, the sound, lots of someone elses money spent!
Cons —
Black car with white rims, possibly the hardest two colours to keep clean, Tein coil overs are a waste of money!

My car is amazing the acceleration on it is a little slow in the beginning of the gear but after the vtec kicks in the acceleration is awesome.. 240 horse power to the the flywheel on a 4 cylinder car.. wow is all i can say, plus its rear wheel drive.. never thought honda would make something like this but im glad they did

It turns quite nicely! I definitely recomend upgrading the shocks to make the car more neutral and less snappy. Also do not use cobalt GT brake pads on this car, it will eat the rotors and the brake dust will eat away at your wheels.

It's a rwd roadster, fitted with a hi-comp 4 banger that screams to 9k rpm, and it's built by Honda. Can't get much better than that.
Pros —
Out of the box performance, 9k rpm!?!?!, reliability, ability to maintain focus with pedal to the floor
Cons —
00-01 plastic rear window
00-01 OE clutch buzz 2nd gear grind I blew 5th gear... lol this one will get you in trouble |
| “S2k With 4.77 Final Drive” Reviewing:
2001 Used Honda S2000 Base
pulls 120hp a liter. has sticky clutch to begin with but a really lazy final drive. i took out the stock 4.10 final drive and put in a 4.77 totally changed the car. eating v8s is easy :P |
