Engines are silky, revvy, quiet, and packed with
punch. The V6 provides quick getaways and ample
passing power. Much of the time, you also get
smooth and responsive downshifts for passing or
merging. At times, though, the automatic shifts
with a jerk and can be painfully slow to drop down
a gear for passing. Gas mileage is a bonus,
especially with the 4-cylinder engine. Our test 5-
speed coupe averaged 23.8 mpg in hard urban
driving. An automatic 4-cylinder got 24.7 mpg.
Test sedans with the V6 engine averaged 24.0 and
20.7 mpg. The ride is comfortable and controlled.
Handling, on the other hand, is noticeably more
precise than before, with less body lean and better
grip in tight corners. You can expect little wind
noise in any model, though some tire hum is
audible on coarse pavement. Overall, noise levels
rank about average. An Accord sedan is just as
roomy inside as a Toyota Camry or Ford Taurus.
Like those competitors, too, Accords are more
comfortable for four adults than for five. In any of
those models, the center rear position lacks
sufficient width for an average-sized grown-up.
Seat comfort ranks as first-rate, especially up front.
Wider doors ease entry/exit on sedans, but rear
access in coupes demands a certain amount of
crouching and crawling. Dashboards are models of
functional simplicity. Power window and lock
switches are not illuminated, however. Sedans have
a deep, wide trunk with a flat floor and a large lid,
which opens to bumper level. Liftover is a bit higher
in coupes, which also have slightly less trunk
volume. All models have a handy split-folding rear
seat.

Don't let the 4 cylinder fool you. It's got more than enough power to rival some 6 cyl out there and it has really good fuel economy. The car has 250 000 km (150 000 Mi) on it right now and drives like it was new, no joke. No rattles, nothing loose. Can we say HONDA! They're usually more expensive than the competition, but they also hold their value. Maintenance programs have changed at Honda, which considerably dropped the price of keeping it running good, for example oil changes every 8000 km (5000 Mi). If you want a car that is both comfortable and handles great, it just might be the one for you...

its an alright car if ur doin long trips
ur gas mileage will be better and have fun

its green which i hate but its comfy and drives like a dream now i have a new clutch in it. very expensive 2 run but havent spent loads on repairs. nice car 2 drive but its not a mazda 6 which is my dream car.keep on dreaming . maybe 1 day

Build quality and reliability are excellent and it's approaching six years. There hasn't really been a major repair so far. Performance is okay, but the throttle is too sensitive and the steering feels disconnected from the road.  Overall, though, the feel when driving it isn't as bad as other cars and is quite acceptable, just not that much fun.
