This vehicle actually belongs under both "Drove" and "Want". Back in about May 2005, when we were still living in Virginia, we went to Koons Honda of Manassas, where we bought our 2004 Odyssey, and test drove a 2006 RTL, green with tan leather. I merely rode shotgun, as I did not have a permit yet, but I loved it! My dad loved it too. We put Bat Out of Hell in the CD player, kicked back, and enjoyed the ride. The ride is incredibly smooth, but the suspension still allows you to feel the road. Handling is responsive for such a large vehicle. The engine is also smooth and unbelievably quiet, offering excellent acceleration. Braking great too. There is plenty of room inside, and the interior fit and finish is great. It also featured an upgraded sound system with a subwoofer. It is still pretty big, however, and the size is not for everyone. Gas mileage also suffers as a result, and the EPA estimate was 16 city and 21 highway. While it is a beautiful vehicle, the looks are a little bit different, and the front end is controversial in some people's opinions. Also affecting the vehicle is the fact it is based on the Honda Pilot. This affects towing and off-road ability. It is a Honda, with their legendary and faithfully reliable 240-250 horsepower 3.5 Liter V6 Vtech engine and a 5-speed automatic tranny. The truck is cheap to maintain. While there are a few negatives, I would still buy this truck anyway. I've seen used ones for under $20,000, which is good deal compared to the $28,000 base price for a new one. One of the most innovative features would have to be the in-bed trunk.

Pros — Honda reliability, value, and handling. Great looks, built solid, roomy interior.
Cons — Steep sticker price (starts at about $28,000 for a base 2009 model today), typical large vehicle gas mileage, supposedly "different" styling.

Love the 4 wheele drive system and the navagation system is nice. It drives real smooth and its pretty good on the gas. It has plenty of storage and to many options to list. Its front wheel drive and all wheele drive if needed. if you want a nice truck go get a ridgeline!

Pros — Gas milage and for a mid size truck its has a awsome 4 wheele drive sytem
Cons — Not enough ground clearance

I have owned the Honda Ridgeline (2006) for a little over a year.  For everything but serious off-roading, this is a terrific vehicle. Great on the highway, around town, etc. Can't find a single fault with it -- decent mileage, decent pickup, great handling, etc.
Only fault I can see is that the off road capabilities are a bit limited, and the ability to upgrade the vehicle through aftermarket items is a bit constrained.  I like to drive my 4x4s on the beach, and I have gotten stuck in the ridgeline.  Part of the issue is that I have the running boards (which reduces clearance) and that I drive in very soft "sugar sand" which is difficult for most vehicles.
I have just purchased a 2" lift kit from Truxxx, which I hope will provide me with the clearance I need.  Unfortunately, I cannot get the large size tires I want because of clearance issues with the fender.
