Needs some body work due to a deer It did need a new starter twice in six months time has been good tho since the 2nd time changing and there is a PFE sensor that wants to keep going bad it gets great mileage cannot complain about that this truck is very fun to drive I love standard trannys they are more economical and seem to last longer this truck is probably one of the best vehicles I have ever owned thanks Dad for selling me this truck :) definetly would recommend this truck to a friend

I originally bought this truck to do alot of aftermarket thing to, as you can tell, its a small truck but does awsome with them. There are so many more good things about the ranger then bad.
Pros —
very reliable, never had any major problems, a solid truck, great apperance, alot of aftermarket products. comes in a 5 speed manual
Cons —
the engine could be stronger, especially after installing aftermarket products

Ford Ranger: 5 speed manual transmission in-line gas engine with 8 spark plugs for better fuel mileage. Vermillion (red) exterior with grey interior. Has a sliding rear glass window, A/c, AM/FM radio with single disc CD player.
Pros —
Small, good gas mialage at 23 miles city/25 miles highway.
Cons —
Haven't found any cons yet other than tight fit for 3 people.

The exterior has Mickey Thompson 15*8 wheels, Dick Cepek 31*10*50 tires. It has Echo Chamber 4" tip dual exaust. 2" lift, and black euro tail lights and corner lights. Interior is pretty much stock except for the 12" Alpine type R Subwoofers with 1800 watt Kicker amp. Alpine head unit with Ipod adaptor.

Good truck, not to big inside. Not many problems with engine, run great. Solid gas Mileage for a truck about 15-18 city about 20 HWY.

I only had a 4-cylinder so the power wasn't there. But I pulled a jet ski trailer with two trailers and it did just fine up in the mountains. I owned the truck for over 9 years and the only major maintenance was one new clutch. Otherwise it was regular scheduled maintenance. Gas mileage was pretty good too at about 20 mpg.

I've had my truck for about a year and beside the previous owner not maintaining the motor and foircing me to either replace it or scrap it i must say i love the little truck

3.0L V6 has enough pep to get the truck up to speed
Cons —
the motor and transmission combination is lacking for highway speeds
