| “Fun Convertible!” Reviewing:
1998 Used Ford Mustang 2 Dr GT Convertible
I am very happy with my purchase. I wasn't looking for a convertible but it fell into my hands and I have had lots of fun with it! Gas mileage averages about 19mpg. But what do you expect with a sports car? I have been more than pleased with most aspects of the car!

Not a family-sized car.

i love it, it has 216,500 miles and still runs like new! Its handling is great at all speeds. Its built ford tough but the paint is somewhat faded. it gets about 22-24 mpg but i just put in a new Cold in Intake so that might be higher. also i have straight pipes and a custom grille i made. Its cheap to maintain as well. As far as fun, it has a loud exaust and sure gets attention!

I own and love my 1998 mustang gt. It's a 5spd V8 and 0-60 is faster than i can remember. It's been built FORD tough and ive only had to fix something that the guy before me broke. the paintjob is metalic black with silver racing stripes, and i have black 03 cobra rims, leather interior, tinted windows, premium sound system. cheap to own and maintain, only spend $40 a week on gas if that. if your going to get a car get a mustang gt it is sooooooo muuuuuuuch fuuuuuuunnn!!!

This has been my car for nearly 10 years now. I still remember that I told my dad that I would drive it till the wheels fall off and when they do I will rebuild it.

Great car 10 years old, 150k miles, excellent condition

The appearance inside and out has stayed immaculate through the years. Performance is decent enough, and it handles ok with the right set of tires. Predictable understeer at the limit characterizes its canyon-carving abilities, and without a limited slip diff, power oversteer with the V6 is unheard of. Quality-wise, the engine and tranny are strong, however I've been having a cooling issue for the past year and a half. I halfway blame it on the mechanic I've been using. He hasn't gotten it right YET. Other than that, its been 125k miles of mischief in that car, and it ain't over yet. Just wish
