got it used at a police auction.  was not well-maintained, so its become a serious money-pit.

excellent handling/acceleration/braking.  

1998 Used Ford Crown Victoria 4 Dr LX Sedan: Room for six not counting the trunk. Big, roomy, scoots along pretty quickly. And gets decent mileage. I always wanted one and once I did I could not go back.

1998 Used Ford Crown Victoria 4 Dr LX Sedan: Wallowing heap of junk - but I loved it!! Perfect in the US, where there'e plenty of space to park this 17  foot long beast, and it eats the miles on the highway while you can sit back... if fact almost lie back.... and relax. Handling was non-existant, performance was shambolic except if you put your foot down when you're already doing 60...you'll be pleasently surprised. Build quality also terrible. Th windows stopped working..then fell out! The tranmission juddered at certain speeds no matter what we did to fix it... I could go on but the list is long and boring. However I loved this car will all its fovballs. Huge boot, huge engine, easy to drive but also hugely dull (especially as ours was gold)
