This was my first car, I loved Theresa, but she was a POS
No one forgets their first car, and this was my dream car at the time. I got it senior year in HS and was in love. That was, until everything started falling apart. Hoses, sensors, even the rear glass fell apart. Although, she made it to LA twice, tahoe, and many other places without so much as a peep.
Pros: looks, power, turning radius, MPG

1999 Used Ford Explorer 2 Dr Sport SUV:
It's my frist car, my baby, and I've put all kinds of effort into making it what it is today.
I got it in 2003, and it needed some TLC. I think it's safe to say that it got just that.
I've since overhauled the sound system with Rockford Fosgate speakers and subs and a Kenwood amp.
The engine moves a little easier thanks to a homemade intake, Flowmaster muffler, and Proform electric fan.
I dropped the suspension 2", and swapped in multi-leaf springs from a Ranger. Later came 255/70/15 Falken tires, Mazda B-series rims and an Explorer Express swaybar kit.
The interior now has cloth bucket seats from a Mustang, and sports a nice Hurst shifter.
To put an end to the one-tire-fire, I put in a 3.73/Limited-Slip axle.

Pros: Plenty of low-end torque, cruises well, tows nicely, and gets 21 mpg with the 3.73 gears.
Cons: The 4.0 OHV leaves more power to be desired, and the Mazda M5OD trans is clunky and won't handle much more than stock power.

Good family car lots of power with the V8. Can tow tons. Loads of room. economical for its size. Good looking.

awesome
great suv for the road, nice and very quiet even when going about 80. very comfortable seats, although i have gotten some comments about the back seat being uncomfortable, i think its ok. good handling, above average performance. bad for getting a new CD player if you have the in steering wheel radio controls and a 6 disc CD changer, cus ford parts won't work w/ after-market parts, GAY.
Pros: spacious, nice luxury car for being 9 years old, good performance
Cons: bad MPG's, hard to customize on a budget
