We bought ours used in 03 and have added another 150000 miles to the original 116,000 plus miles. Performance is outstanding. Strong running engine. Windows don't work anymore. Switches are bad. It burned a little oil when we got it and it still does. Also has a leak in the cooling system, but we can't find where it is leaking. Good gas mileage. Still looks the same as when we bought it. Maintenance was normal. No extra or huge costs for repairs.
Pros:
Strong running engine!
Cons:
Windows quit working.

this thing will run forever. im not so sure if thats a good thing because it is the ugliest thing ive ever seen and the body rust like nothing ive ever seen. its got about 220 thousand miles and sd still running fairly well

yeah I have only had this car for over a half year...and it was on 156,000th mile when we go it.. and still is cause it dose not read the miles.... and it has been out of comision for 2 of the 7 months I have drove it. The water pump went out, oil pan rusted, not the catolatic converter went out and It's now not truning on over.. it's dead... I liked it when it ran..But it overheated alot and the radio only work when I had the heat on..
Pros:
it's a car..It takes you places... sometimes could go over 120MPH
Cons:
Breaks down to much even when you take care of it... rusted like crazy... ummm milage

My '91 Dynasty averages 26 mpg as of 02/03/2007. Not bad for a 16 + year old automobile. Not a pretty car, but it has been reliable. I recommend these cars to anyone looking for affordability & a cheap source of transportation. Shane C. |

Sadly, I drove the car to it's 186,000th mile and it did "die-nasy" with an engine fire on the side of the highway. I had to replace the trans at about 180,000 miles and had to fix many oil leaks along the way. |

My dynasty is 16 years old and has 163,000 miles on it. Runs like a champ. Doesnt turn as quick as some of these jap cars but what jap car can carry six people it in with out touching each other. Curises at 70 mph and i have gotten up at 100 with no problem. wont beat out alot of cars but it does keep up with them and gives them there moneys worth. Plus it's a sleeper i mean come on it looks like a grany car but when that grany car is beating out my best friends 96 cavalier, it makes u respect it. |
