We have owned this van for 5 years and put 80,000 miles on it. It starts every time, runs beautifully and averages 21mpg in all driving conditions. We have hauled the basketball, baseball and soccer team all over Louisiana. All 7 passengers are) comfortable. The van is quiet and solid. The V-6 is smooth and powerful.It has been in the shop only twice, once to change out the transmission computer module ($600) and the A/C condensor (under the dash-$1177) No other repairs.
Pros:
quiet, powerful, good fuel economy, roomy, solid people hauler.
Cons:
Removing the seats is a chore-they are Very Heavy.

I bought this thing for my wife and the tranny failed before I had a chance to put new tags on it. Obviously designed for a woman, my wife would be better to ask about this thing. It drove OK but I'vfe driven better.
Pros:
Commonly available and not terribly expensive used
Cons:
Transmission problems are common, Dodge repairs are expensive.

My dad owns a white Caravan. I drive it when my truck breaks down or is in the shop. Otherwise I try to avoid it.
Pros:
It has lots of room with the seats out...
Cons:
weak 4-banger, odd noises from seemingly everywhere at once, right-side speakers don't work

great accelaration, great brakeing, everything else sucks, the top speed is 110 or the speedometer stops at 110 im not sure i want to know how fast it was going

This van has it all: convenience, performance , space and good looks. I am pleasantly surprised at it's reliability, since Consumer Reports seems to rate this as a mediocre "grocery getter". It is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned.
Pros:
convenience, engine, quiet cabin

I would recommend one to anyone I don't know about the newwer models. this one is a good van I am going to rebuild it and keep on driving it |
