1989 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Reviews
| “1989 Chevrolet Silverado” This truck has it all. It's fast, reliable, handles great (for a truck), and can haul anything. My truck has over 358,000 miles on the clock, and shows no signs of slowing down. Even in the city, this truck averages about 15 miles per gallon, which is not too bad considering it has a 350ci V8. I would reccomend this truck to anyone who wants to represend America and all that is awesome.
Pros —
Fast, fun, reliable, hauls anything.
Cons —
I wish it had 4wd, but that would kill my mileage.

| “Stallion” The truck is a good truck I thought when i first got it but then after i bought it started to run downhill. I had to fix everything when I didnt have alot of money at the time so it was hard to do. I like it because of the rumble of the v8 and how it looks but i dont like 8 miles to the gallon
Cons —
gas mileage

| “The Beast From The East” it's the party truck if it's there there is a party. 400 horse power helps to with the stroker motor

| “Its A Beast...” This is what it used to look like....its not quite the same now. It don't have the bug guard, bed rails, or wheels anymore. Now its got chrome wheels from an 06' GMC on it until i get my 07' Chevy 20s. Its got flowmaster exhaust dumped under the bed now and Euro tail lights. And its lowered 2in in the back...its still a work in progress...
Pros —
Its a hoss! lol
Cons —
It gets 10 mpg...lol

| “Excellent Truck.” Strong truck. I used to tow a 28 foot camper down the highway at 70 mph and no trouble with hills at all.
Pros —
strong engine & tranny. and stunning good looks.
Cons —
no extended cab. i didn't mind then but i'm spoiled now.

Cons —

| “Worth $500”
I paid $500 for this truck, I wanted something to help me move and this was my first attempt at a winter truck. However, without anti-lock and without the 4x4 working (needed a $250 fix) this 4500lb beast would slide into intersections if snowy out and when I finally did get it back into place, it started jiggling until the whole thing rotated (in place) 90 degrees... I have no idea what caused that. The turning radius makes it nearly impossible to maneuver in regular places cars need to go.
Pros —
Has a long bed which could fit an entire couch in it with the gate up.
Cons —
Costs about $100 at the pump to fill it up and it's V8 chugs through fuel.
