| “Has Get Up And Go, Very Reliable In Any Weather.” Reviewing:
2001 Used Ford Ranger 4 Dr XLT 4WD Extended Cab Stepside SB
This truck is a very good truck. Has good power under the hood, 4.0 V6. The 4WD is great for off-road and in the winter. The interior is very nice, a little small though if you want to have more than one passenger. Gas mileage is another down side, but I love driving this truck.
Pros —
Beastly engine, quality interior and styling.
Cons —
Gas mileage.

| “Solid All Around Midsize Truck” Reviewing:
2001 Used Ford Ranger 4 Dr XLT 4WD Extended Cab Stepside SB
First let me note that mine is actually a 1999, but the 1999 trim options didn't include a 4-door, which mine is. Also, the picture isn't of my exact truck, but the closest I could find. The only difference is that mine is a 4-door extended cab.
Pros —
I like the stepside styling (some don't agree with me, but I think it looks good), and I love the 4-door option. It also is very reliable and solid, well-built, gets good mileage for its class, and has a smooth, comfortable ride.
Cons —
The 3.0L V6 is gutless in comparison to the 4.0L, and doesn't make up for that discrepancy much in mileage. The mileage IS better, but not so much better that it makes having the smaller engine size worth it.

| “A So-so Low Priced Pickup” If you are buying a pickup with the intent for hauling allot of of stuff I would recommend the Ford F-150 or any Dodge Ram. This truck is meant to be a low priced car which will get the job done but not do anything extraordinary and it lives up to that. It has some power and can tow a boat or trailer but not very gracefully. Its turning radius is fair especially for a truck and the acceleration is fair.
Pros —
Cheap and fairly rugged
Cons —
Not great to drive
