| “Good Car Overall, Parts A Little Costly When It Needs Repaired” Reviewing:
1998 Used Chrysler Sebring 2 Dr JXi Convertible
car runs and drives great, the body in general is showing alot of age a lot quicker than it should. The door stops have been replaced twice and the top motor once. The timing belt just gave up at 99,128 miles |

| “Wish The Design Was More Intuitive When It Comes To Repair Work” Reviewing:
1998 Used Chrysler Sebring 2 Dr JXi Convertible
The 1998 Chrysler Sebring convertible, unlike its 1998 Sebring hardtop brothers, is a Mitsubishi-engined Dodge Stratus/Chrysler Cirrus hybrid.
Pros —
Low overall cost of ownership so far. Some minor electrical problems which Chrysler is known for. Excellent fuel economy averaging as high as 30mpg on highway.
Cons —
Maintenance for the DIY'er is difficult at best. Spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor are hidden beneath the intake manifold plenum. Belts are hard to reach. Looking at or replacing the battery requires removal of the driver's side front wheel to access a hidden compartment where the battery lives. This car is an owner/operator/mechanic's nightmare!
