Ridiculous truck. Looks good and drives like a dream. Went from a 2006 dodge ram hemi to this and i do believe it is so much better. Hauls 3000 lbs like a damn feather. Also a truck that can get its ass going. Gunned it when we got it got it up to 120 on a highway entrance ramp without even mashing the petal to the floor. hate the price of the diesel but i do believe its worth it with a truck like this. 5/5
Pros:
Good-Looking. Can haul extremely heavy loads. Eye Catcher. It can haul ass. Drives like a dream. Great stock sound system. Alot of bed room.

I love chevy trucks.. the 2008 / 2009 2500HD LTZ is beyond a doubt one of the best chevy has made.. if not the best.. it handles really well for a big truck, even taking this truck off roading it handles perfectly.. the only thing that should be changed.. is the appearance, its really nice but I think GM can make it look a little more beefy

Dislike the poor Independent front axle (GAWR) Also dislike the emissions system that is required to be put on all 2007.5 Diesels. Would prefer floor shifter 4WD rather than turn dial. Like the Allison 1000 Series 6 Speed Automatic. Could have a CUMMINS!!

I'm a sales professional who also has horse. I had always driven a car and kept a truck for farm duties. I rolled both vehicles into one. Viola! Chevy 2500 HD Duramax. I love the LTZ package for luxury and the heavy duty Diesel for farm. I'm the envy of all neighbors and coworkers. I would recommend this truck to everyone. Beauty and muscle combine in one package.
