Old cop cars rock! It's a retired 2001 Police Interceptor (P71 VIN Code) from the Oregon Highway Patrol. I paid $2450 for it! I've done a complete interior swap to the civilian version with new and NOS parts, added the caps and rings, and a few performance goodies (K&N FIPK GenII, Superchips #1725 Tuner, 2.5" mandrel-bent under-axle catback, Flowmaster 40 mufflers, Royal Purple oil, gear oil, and Purple ICE, Optima Red-top, 180* t-stat). I have less then $4000 invested in the car (including the purchase price, license, registration, and title transfer!). It runs 14.85@93.5 in the 1/4 mile and gets 22.5MPG on 87 Octane. The next mod is an E85 ethanol conversion!
