this car is terrible. i bought this car in may 2008. my 04 optra has been in garage more than i can count. seems to be there every week. tired and sick of this car. i have spend thousands of dollars to keep this thing running. i do the routine maintenance and it still does something wrong. right now my car is in garage for the check engine light.
Pros:
the size is nice
Cons:
cost wise in repairs.

The brakes are soft and often need expensive repair. It accelerates well when warmed. Dashboard rattles are irritating. Styling is immaterial--I am mostly concerned with performance and maintenance costs. This has been an expensive car for me to own, far more so than the three Pontiacs I owned previously. I would NOT recommend this car to anyone I liked.
Pros:
It holds the road very well in turns and wind.
Cons:
Expensive repairs are unending.
