Reviewing: 2008 Land Rover LR3 SE

The Discovery 3 / LR3 has amazing off-road capabilities without sacrificing on-road ride and handling. The air suspension provides unrivalled ground clearance and while on high ride mode this beast managed to wade anything I threw at during it last summer's UK flooding. The interior and exterior design successfully combine toughness with luxury. The interior craftmanship was significantly improved compared to 2007 model. The 7 seat folding and stowing possible combations makes this the most adaptable SUV interior I've seen.

Pros — Amazing off-road capabilities with great on road ride and handling. Luxurious interior with incredibly flexible seat configurations.
Cons — A bit on the thirsty side
