1987 Buick Grand National Reviews
| “I Love This Car” This is my brothers car and I drove it, the first things your going to notice is that the pedal is really stiff and touchy, and the car will handle like nascar because of the hard suspension (and the had a GN series nascar). The only work we did on it is replace the turbo because the stock one was leaking oil (because its 21 years old) but we got a bigger one for it. This car is the ultimate car for showboatin and will prolby beat ANY CAR in my town. Even Nates old Montey Carlo. as we have seen ;)
Pros —
Amazing car. Fast off line but can still do a smoke show if you want
Cons —
Honestly I cant think of much.

| “Last Truly Great American Muscle Car”
Most enjoyable car I have ever owned... all who rode
Pros —
Superb acceleration... torque was out of this world. You could squeal the tires at 40mph!
Cons —
Could take most any stock Corvette built before the mid 90's unless it had to go around a curve... but muscle cars are for raw power and comfort, not formula racing

| “Buick Grand National - The Barbarian”
Incredible acceleration, especially considering the platform and engine size. It was actually faster (0-60 mph) than the Corvette (of the same year.)
Pros —
Very quick 0-60 mph acceleration, Darth Vader like appearance, limited production numbers, etc.
Cons —
Handling, lack of top speed (which was under 130 mph,) durability, etc

|
| “1987 Buick Grand National” The car had about 60,000 miles. Enough power that you can NOT handle!! Rotissary Restoration, MANY upgrades, and Better than factory condition.
Pros —
FAST as HELL
Cons —
none
|
| “Fastest Car I Have Ever Been In!” Mint interior and exterior. Screaming V6 Turbocharged 3.8L engine putting out 250HP and way more tourqe than you can imagine. Flowmaster exhaust helps it get even louder than what it normally is.
Pros —
Sleeper car, my favorite kind.
Cons —
You can get it any color you want, as long as it's black

| “Great American Muscle” Outside of the latest line-up of new muscle cars and the great muscle cars of the 60's and early 70's, this was THE greatest muscle car ever built. It isn't the uniqueness or the stealth-like appearance or performance, it's what can be done to bring this car to true supercar status on a shoestring budget. This car epitomizes straight line exhileration--velcro cheek straps not included.
Pros —
Quick, quick, quick...did I say quick?! Badass looks. Collectibility.
Cons —
Expect standard American workmanship
|
| “Loved This Freakin' Car” I loved the car and wish I never sold it. They are very hard to find now a days and even harder to find in good condition.
Pros —
Insane power, it can smoke a lot of cars without having to change a thing.
Cons —
You can only go in a straight line don't try and take fast turns, and the T-tops were nice but they leaked.
