Faster thru the slalom then a 911 Turbo
Out brakes an SVT Cobra
Has the same Recaro Seat as a B6 S4

Pros — Great Handling, tons of accesories for the money

Cons — Needs about 50 more HP!!

Very fun car to drive. It's like driving a go-kart. The SVT has just enough high end features to make it not feel like an econo-box

Pros — Quick. Fun. Sporty. Good looking. Great fuel mileage

Cons — Needs a better stereo. Needs an armrest. I have an aftermarket, but it gets in the way of the seat controls.

Reviewing: 2003 Used Ford Focus SVT 2 Dr STD Hatchback

170hp 2.0L engine designed with help of the Cosworth magicians.
Excellent torque, for an I4, that comes on strong @ 2200 and stays flat
all the way up to 6000, and then the fun starts. Due to variable valve
timing and intake runner length (yes i just said that) this mild
mannered little car becomes rubber burning, torque steering little
monster. Thank goodness for the optional traction control. Braking is
sublime, in spite of the single pot calipers, with nearly no fade and
eye-popping power. Imagine ripping abound a into a tight l/h turn in
third gear (somewhere above the posted speed limit) and you realize
you might be a bit to fast for a front wheel drive... All the sudden the
tail steps out, tightens your line up, and stays there. You gotta try it
some time.

Pros — Great chassis, Good Engine, Boy Racer exhaust note, Concerned Mommy
gas milage!

Cons — Some phantom interior electrical problems.

acceleration is a bit modest, but flat and pulls really well thansk to the 6speed gearbox.
but the handling, oh man, couple it with sweet tyres, and man it takes you through the roundabouts at 75mph.

Pros — Handling, performance, Engine sound!

Cons — Rust

stock with nice 17" rims, 170 hp ,140 tq. 6 speed. nice racing style seats. great sound system. nice stock body kit.

Pros — Incredible handling, unique styling.

Quirky, cool interior, nice dash. Great handling and SVT mods.

Pros — overall - fun to drive - GREAT stereo.

Cons — Seats uncomfortable, spongy clutch, no low-end torque.

a) they needed to offer a 200+hp super-charged version like all the -other-
SVT vehicles they sold.

b) Ford's overall build quality is horrid and the car rattled itself to death.

Pros — super cute, super fun, amazing cornering and acceleration

Cons — lacked enough top end, can't turn off traction control below 20mph
