1999 Fiat Punto Reviews

To be honest, I don't know why everyone doesn't buy a fiat punto, especially with the addition of the fiat fule injection system. Once when I was stopped at traffic lights, this guy in a tractor pulled up allong side me and gave me the look, he wanted a race, I was up for it, he was up for it, and when the lights turned green we were off, in a huge plume of tyre smoke and screaching. It soon became pretty obvious that his six litre v10 engine was no match for my 1.2 litre fuel injected beast, and it was not very long until I had pulled a comfy lead. The breaking is also excellent as I can usually stop in time when pulling into my drive before hitting my house.

Overall a top car

little tin car! breaks easily! had to have alot of repairs. was quite a slow car as it was only 1.2 petrol, but ok for twn driving. easy to park. styling was ok considering age. Was great on petrol though!  

great little first car, always wanted one and now got my dream version, a 99 5dr 1.2 sx, in black with electric windows and power steering. its ace, nippy for round town and a lot fun to drive. happy to keep it for a while

Very Nippy motor for a 1.2. Was standard when I got it, but after fitting Alloys, Stainless Steel Sports Exhaust, Sports Filter, Tinted Rear lights and Tinted indicators it looked & sounded superb. Another car that turned heads when i was coming.

A very solid, reliable car. Unfortunately they were known for head gaskets going! Apart from that very easy & cheap to maintain
