1999 Acura Integra Reviews

Acceleration is alright, got better with: AEM V2 cold air intake, Buddy Club Grounding Kit, Pulse Plugs, Greddy TI-c exhaust system, Hondata heatshield gasket,  brakes upgraded with drilled and slotted disks up front with hawk pads. Skunk2 coilovers, and some ebay junk strut bar.  Build quality was great no odd noises, extremely reliable, great gas mileage, only repair has been some bodywork. I lol when people are in love with their P.O.S. and give it 5 stars on all ratings. Appearance, some people love the look, some people hate it. Black GSR. Rollin' on TSW trackstar 4's. One of the best handling FWD chassis/cars ever. I don't win drag races off the line because of low torque on the low end, but once I get up to 6600 rpm it's like WHOOOOA VTAK JUST KICKED IN YO!

It is a fun ride. It does not have much in the way of horsepower and torque however! The car looks good and runs nice, it is a good commuter and/or daily driver. I would recommend it as a first car.

My teggy was awesome owning it from 2001 through until
early 2008. The car had amazing performance and looked
great to anyone who knew anything about cars. My
mechanic loved it, My family loved it. Got me around
despite my low millage compared to others. I treated it
great and it returned the favor. Handling and power were
improved through some easy mods. I would have done
more except for the limitations of power on an automatic trans axle and tranny swap was impractical cost/ benefit ratio. Later in its life the Teg suffered a Rusted through
Exhaust pipe, Sticking door locks, Rust on the hood and
hood latch, Windows that would stick in the winter,
moisture in the tail lights, Brake calipers front and back
both were binding up and required replacement. (killed the
brake pad millage and gas millage) She also developed a
problem with switching gears. Forward to reverse would
have a delay of a few seconds. All this aside. I loved the
car and would buy another one if offered a good deal as a
second car (if I could afford)

Runs good, clean, has potential
performance is good for a 4 cyl.
handling is also not bad

with maybe 7,000 dollars, it would go fasssttt!
Overall a good car and a reliable car for the price.
I would recommend it for a first car. It can also be a good racecar :)
