MDX is confident with what it has
Very solid car. Good power, very confortalbe in middle row seats. Tons of accesories. Saftey features are good, too.
Pros: Acessability, Comfort, Durability
Cons: Power (could be more), MPG (average, but low for SUVs), Styling (too bland)

2001 Used Acura MDX Base:
drives like a car
very versitile, can carry 7 people, or alot of cargo depending on how many seats you open up
Pros: 7 years old 166000 miles and drives like brand new
Cons: uses only hi test gas
2001 Used Acura MDX Touring:
Made for the wealthy! haha
I really do love my SUV! If you have the money and can afford not only the gas, but any extra parts... it's a keeper!!!
Pros: Extremely comfortable and wonderful on road trips!!!
Cons: It's a gas hog and the parts are expensive :(

2001 Acura MDX
For around 82K miles, transmission seems to be it's about to go. It had some slips when changing gears. Great space. When brand new, it was pretty quick.
Pros: Great space.
Cons: Seems a bit light.
Buyer Beware!!
I bought this thing new in 2001. Had a few minor issues in the first couple of years but I must say the last 3 years have been unbearable. From 2 recalls (transmission replaced after major hassle and front springs) to needing things I have never needed in a honda/acura like: New steering, new rear ac, new trans board, new engine mounts, new shocks (never been off road), new fuse - (yesterday it died on the road fronm this!) and more. Honda/Acura won't take any responsibility because it is out of warranty (80k now). But this all started around 40k! I am trading this week for a Lexus GX. Never will I buy a honda/Acura again!
Pros: ride, 3rd row seat fold
Cons: mechanical disaster!
