Reviewing: 2004 Used Acura RSX Type-S

Overall- I love this car!  Bought it used January 2008.
Performance- with a 200horse I4 Vtech 6 speed manual it definately has some stomp when you want it.
Build Quality- it's rock solid.  hasn't needed any serious repairs.
Appearence- it's been hit in parking lots twice, so there is some body damage.  scheduled to have some body work done the first week of september 08.  put 18s and some new tires on her on July 08.  HIDs coming soon.
Cost of Ownership- gas mileage is great.  i do have to put premium in this car... but it goes about 400 miles on a tank.   maintenance cost is very low.  just regular oil changes.
Fun Faction- the tight steering and 6 speed manual, makes this car very fun to drive!  it's fully loaded with the bose stereo system and sun roof just make the acura RSX type S and all around great sports car.

Pros — 6 Speed Manual, great gas milage, Vtech Engine for the extra power when you need it.

Cons — Takes premium gas only

Reviewing: 2004 Used Acura RSX Type-S

Simple mods make this car night/day in performance. This car has a little bit of performance, comfort, luxury, and anything else you can think of for the price. I love this car inside and out. FWD is its only flaw in my opinion, but even then, it's not a big deal for me since I don't drag race with it. A great daily driver.

I miss this car so much! Great horsepower, torque, build, stereo system, racing style seats, easy shifting. I bought this car not knowing how to drive a stick shift and learned...it was pretty easy.

Reviewing: 2004 Used Acura RSX Type-S

Fantastic little sports coupe. Plenty of standard features that are options on more expensive cars.
Handling is superb, regardless of the FWD layout.
Simple clean good looks. No racy, spoilers, splitters, or exaggerated lines.
Effortless acceleration in any gear. VTEC is amazing... winding the car up in the lower gears is hard to resist.
Beautiful interior, excellent driving position, well bolstered sport seats.
Six speed transmission is a pleasure to use.
Hatchback design makes this/that more practical.
Aftermarket tuning options are endless.

Reviewing: 2004 Used Acura RSX Type-S

Great power for a small and affordable luxury compact. Great handling! Great engine!

Pros — Loved the power to weight ratio...a fun and practical car that still seats 4.

Cons — Transmission stinks. Nice feel, but breaks. Lots of service bulletins out but Honda still says there's no "official" problem. Had my 6 speed rebuild once under warranty when I had mine.
