1991 Chevrolet Lumina Reviews
| “Cheap Fast Car” Reviewing:
1991 Used Chevrolet Lumina 2 Dr Z34 Coupe
Got it two years ago from k-bid for 385 bucks and runs great. Very little trouble with it but when i have trouble it sucks to work on. theres not much room under the hood to work with when theres a problem but otherwise it is very fun to drive.
Pros —
cheap and fast
Cons —
no room under the hood when work is needed

| “1991 Chevy Lumina 3.1 Euro Sport” Reviewing:
1991 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr Euro Sedan
This car has been hit by two 18 wheelers and both times it drove away for the accident! The car has never left me stranded anywhere regardless to the damages. Car has a bored out silver standard 3.1 V6 pushing around 210hp and about 285 ft-lbs. Has a 2500 watt stereo in it with 8 speakers and 2 10inch subs. Custom black on red interior(work in progress). Ram air intake with k&N filter and 2'5 inch custom exhaust with flowmaster.
Pros —
Reliability, deep sound, extremely spacey inside, red interior, one of a kind look, Stops on a dime and straight, takes corners very fast with little body roll, Sleeper look, Easy to fix. AMAZING ON GAS!!!!
Cons —
Back disc brakes sezz fast, cops like it:(

| “A Good Surprise” Reviewing:
1991 Used Chevrolet Lumina 2 Dr Euro Coupe
a few revisions from the 1990 and the '91 Lumina packs a surprising punch. The interior is a surprise and the "new design" appealed to those who wanted a "sporty car"
Pros —
interior, build quality, appearence.
Cons —
rear struts.

| “Good Starter Car” Reviewing:
1991 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr STD Sedan
Got it from a friend who no longer needed it. Before i got it all it did was drive him to Seattle and back twice and afterwards sat in the driveway. Had a problem with the thermostat (looked like someone took a welding torch to it), leaking, and when we tried to replace it, it broke in half. Paints faded and scratched in spots but because of its age no one really cares or notices.
Pros —
Good on gas and pretty reliable
Cons —
You wont be picking up any girls in this thing

| “Good First Car” Reviewing:
1991 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr STD Sedan
Although it looks like a big piece of crap, its a pretty good car. Good on the gas (which in todays world means everything), and pretty reliable. Spare parts are easy to find, but depending on what it is that needs to be replaced, may be a pain in the ass to do so. All in all a good car to give to a new driver.
Pros —
Good on gas, easy to find spare parts
Cons —
ugly as hell, bad turn radius (but not horrible)

Son bought it for a cheap car with 188,500 on it. Paint and dash are shot and it leaks just a bit of atf, but it drives great! Starts every time and is a comfortable highway car.
Pros —
Sound, dependability
Cons —
Brakes, interior finish

| “"absolutely One Of The Best Cars We've Ever Owned' Bar None."” Reviewing:
1991 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr STD Sedan
This is our second Lumina, the first being a 1992 with a 4 cyl. 2.5 that origionally was owned by the city of Indianapolis Public Works. Both vehicles have been extremely reliable and easy on gas. The 92 with the 4 cyl. had the ever common locking tourque converter isssue which I unplugged, and our presently owned 91 with 3.1 V6 bought obout 2 months ago is constantly on the run as I am a free-lance mechanic here in Indy. I probably run about 100 plus miles daily servicing my regular used car lot customers and running parts.
Pros —
Easy on fuel-Very low maintance- Easy on the eye styling
Cons —
Heater core/fan & air conditioning problems
