I love my pickup truck named Black Betty I dressed her all up put on hood scoops,tires,mortor,k@ n air intake hypertect superchip and my plans are droping in a 351 windsor in it with a kleen bell super charger and flow master dule ex from the cat back.

been to Hell and Back in my truck

I wished it was a 4x4

The only bad thing is that she's really heavy on fuel but yet again it's nice to have some power under you're right foot if you need it!!!!!!!!!!

The acceleration is ok, you really have to have a heavy foot to get it going off the line. However, during the acceleration it has great sound, I love driving my Ranger because of it. Only thing I regret about it is the gas mileage, its pretty bad for a 3.0 V6, the best I've ever got was 290km...per tank.
Pros —
Great build, Nice sound, Horrible traction in the winter (some see it as a negative, i see it as a Positive..makes driving fun!)
Cons —
Gas Mileage!

I do not recommend this truck without 4 wheel drive.
Pros —
gas milage, ability to turn off airbag
Cons —
poor handling in bad weather unless you have 4 wheel drive

| “Good Lil Rig” good little truck, bought it with 40k a year ago, now has 95k. run it mostly as a commuter 120-180 miles per day. I dont really like the torsion bar front end, as it makes it hard to get a suspension lift. after its paid off I'll be looking to swap in a solid front axle then put about 8in of lift under her

the 4.0L is a great engine, you can smoke the tires no problem, pretty good hauler

should have got the rear door option

This small truck does not lack the ability to carry around big loads. decent size bed makes it easy to move around anything. interior is at the bare with no power windows or locks on my model. radio, cd player, tape player, air condtion works well. No engine problems yet and steering is strong.
Pros —
This is the first truck i bought with my money, decent power under the hood, can carry around anything now
Cons —
sucks up gas a little fast, cant take it to the clubs

I bought this truck as a replacement for my 98 Ranger that was destroyed by a drunk driver. I was extremely impressed (and tremendously thankful) that my 98 held up as well in the crash as it did.
Pros —
New 2.3L Duratec is a better engine than the older 2.5L Lima engine.
Cons —
Lots of noise inside the cab when driving (wind, road noise, etc).
