2005 Ford Freestyle Reviews
Great car - lots of room for the kids & their stuff - rides well long distance Car is great. I can separate the kids and still have room for all their stuff. Good gas mileage.
2005 Used Ford Freestyle SE AWD: Great Car Excellent car, extra roomy. Great for cross-country travel as well and around town. All the options make it super nice. Kids love it (and the DVD player). A great car all around. Love the CVT, will be nice if this transmission catches on in all the cars. Gas mileage is pretty good for what it is. Our model is only rated 24 hwy, but we get 26 alot.
Pros: TONS of cup holders!! Fold-flat seats. Very versatile.
Cons: Can't see rear-view when DVD screen is down...but that's a problem with all roof-mounted DVD players.
2005 Used Ford Freestyle Limited AWD:
Great Mommy Mobile
3 kids who love this car.
Recently had it to the dealer and got a loner sedan, Toyota Camry and my kids were devasted. Why do people think the camry is a great car....had a taurus 2000 that had a better feel than the camry...but thats another post, ;)
When we purchased the Freestyle I was looking for ANYTHING that wasn't a traditional SUV and definitely not a van. I was ecstatic that a car existed for a family of 5 with two dogs and we all fit in the car!
We've really enjoyed the car, its great around town and long trips are very comfortable, sound system is terrific and the DVD is a pleasure
2005 Used Ford Freestyle SE: Great car with plenty of zoom and room. Love the car. I purchased a 2005 model and, except for one rear Bosch brake pad that had to be replaced, we are sold on the vehicle. It has enough giddy-yup for any need, handles very responsively, includes a very roomy, comfortable and well-appointed interior, and we think it is just about the perfect blend between an SUV and a muscular station wagon. We live on a dirt road in the country and clearance is not a problem, and the ride is smooth and comfortable on any surface. The CVT has been a very pleasant surprise and I would recommend the vehicle to anyone who has a family of any size, uses their vehicle for the transport of large or numerous items, or especially for campers and over-the-road travelers.
