I love this car. I test drove all the competitors first... crv, rogue, rav4 and the ford edge, which ran a very close second. The fun factor and the very peppy turbo bust PLUS THE ALSOME SUNROOF were the deciding factors for me. Fuel economy is better than I expected. I love my TIGUAN. |

Just got it last November and really love it so far. Doesn't handle like a little SUV, the harder you push through a corner, the better! It's very well built, love the HUGE, PANORAMIC sunroof and the fact that I can fit the bikes in the back! It's fantastically quiet with the windows down too!
Pros:
Punchy engine, great handling, great build quality!
Cons:
Tiptronic!!! Wish it was a stick!

Small enough to get into small spaces in Paris, but big enough to fit the dog, friends, and suitcases. Has great pickup and is a blast to drive. Chrome plating on interior/extrior trim is not great quality and definitely already too many recalls and problems with electronics in the handbreak.
Pros:
Great car with a lot of roominess but compact enough to fit in any space
Cons:
Lower quality plastics used in chrome plating and bumper units resulting in abrasion and scratching
