1993 Chevrolet Camaro Reviews
Kicks ass LS-1 auto is balls to the walls. great V8 sound and power, pleasent cruiser, just tap that throttle and throw it sideways its that easy! funnest car i've driven yet.
Pros: Power, fast, and more power
Cons: gas mileage
1993 Used Chevrolet Camaro 2 Dr Z28 Hatchback: CHEVY BUILT TO LAST BUILT TO LOVE RUNS GOOD. HAS ALOT OF POWER AND SOUNDS GREAT. A REAL MAN DRIVES A V-8.
Pros: POWER, SOUND, ACCERLERATION
Cons: SUCKS TO DRIVE IN THE SNOW.
1993 Used Chevrolet Camaro 2 Dr STD Hatchback:
Great old F-body Camaro
Fun old Camaro, it has been reliable up until last summer when it hit 178000 miles, then the ECU and a few cam sensors blew, and now 2 of the ignition coils have gone, but what can you expect for a 15 year old car with 1845000 miles that is driven aggressively everyday?
The clutch is really firm, which took a bit of getting used to, but the transmission has been pretty good, its fairly precise and the only issue I have had is that it is slightly difficult trying to shift into reverse, no real problems though. The engine has held up great to the constant abuse of almost everyday 100+ mph drives through the MT hills going to college and work. The oil filter is a bit of a pain to get at to change compared to my old e30 BMW, but that is to be expected too. The handling is pretty good, it hangs on really well to mountain roads at excessive speeds, but will shred tires quickly if you are not careful. My only real complaint is that the car tends to track the grooves on the road to much.
The almost nonexistent truck is only really useful for storing the t-top and the back seats are small, have almost no padding and have no hand holds for the passengers, which has proven to be problem when taking corners at high speeds.
Overall, a great driver's car and a fun daily driver.
Pros: Looks great, gets decent mileage (28+ if driven politely), handles roads well (spring - fall) and is fun to drive.
Cons: A royal pain to drive in MT winters, huge windshield wipers that are really loud during operation and almost no storage room.
1993 Used Chevrolet Camaro 2 Dr STD Hatchback: My fuel milage car just a V6. I treat it more like a pick-up than I should
Pros: Tough as nails
Cons: bought it out of a repo deal so its pretty beat up
1993 Used Chevrolet Camaro 2 Dr STD Hatchback: Avoid the 1993's, they had many problems OK it did handle very well and had that nice 6 cylinder engine but it was unreliable, ate gasoline and the AC sucked. The newer versions of this series where much MUCH better.
Pros: Nice handling
Cons: Very unreliable, poor gas mileage, cheaply built.
