2005 Nissan Titan SE Crew Cab 2WD Summary
Seven more inches of rear legroom make the 2005 Nissan Titan SE Crew Cab 2WD more family-friendly than the King Cab, and a lot more standard features and options upgrade it from the XE. A 205-hp, 5.6-liter DOHC V8 and 5-speed auto tran sit under the hood, while outside, the full-sized rear-wheel drive pickup rides on larger 18-inch wheels. The 5.5-foot cargo bed has tie-downs and a new power sliding rear window. A bed cover, bedliner, and extender are extra. A trailer hitch and running boards can also be added. The Crew Cab doors open conventionally onto two rows of seats, with the rear row split-folding. Front seat captain's chairs also fold and get active head restraints this year.
Standard equipment includes traction control, 4-wheel ABS, dual front airbags, a tire monitor and skid plates. An alarm system is also standard, rather than optional. Full power features, plus heated mirrors, leather trim, and a CD changer are improvements over the XE's air conditioning, cruise control, and intermittent wipers. Options include foglights, parking sensors, stability control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and side airbags. Inside, you can add a power driver's seat and power pedals, a DVD player, satellite radio, a garage opener, wheel-mounted audio controls, and rear audio controls. Amazing power and torque, towing capability, and the long list of standard features are winners for owners of the 2005 Titan SE Crew Cab 2WD, but poor gas mileage, plastic parts, and a short bed disappoint.
