2005 Nissan Quest Base Summary
A new, less expensive Quest minivan is introduced this year, but it's still well equipped and comes with the same standard safety features seen in the other trims. A 3.5-liter, 240-hp DOHC V6 engine and 4-speed automatic transmission powers the 2005 Nissan Quest STD minivan with three rows of seats for seven people. 16-inch wheels, ABS brakes, dual front and all-row side curtain airbags are standard, as is traction control and a tire monitor.
New on all models this year is a security system. The 2005 Quest STD also features cruise control, trip computer, power accessories, a CD player, front and rear climate control, and a manual sliding passenger door. A DVD system, second row captain's chairs, and a towing package are some available options. A new option for 2005 is satellite radio. The third row bench folds flat, while the second row folds nearly flat. Owners like the smooth ride, interior roominess, and overall power of the 2005 Quest STD. The 19/25 gas mileage is better than some SUVs, but some drivers wish it was better. They are also disappointed by the poor quality interior materials.
