2005 Nissan Maxima SE Summary

A little flash in performance combines with a high-end spacious interior for a mid-sized personal luxury sedan that suits all kinds of drivers, from work to play, weekday to weekend.  Equipped with a 3.5-liter, 265-hp V6 engine and choice of 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic, the 2005 Nissan Maxima SE gets a short-shift throw this year, as well as updated optional leather upholstery, an extra power outlet, and optional satellite radio and auto-dimming exterior mirrors.

4-wheel ABS brakes, dual front-side and rear side impact bags, 18-inch alloy wheels, and traction control earn four and five-star safety ratings.  Other standard equipment on the 2005 Maxima SE include full power features, a power driver's seat, automatic headlights, cruise control, remote entry, wheel-mounted audio controls, leather trim, a trip computer, dual-zone climate control, a CD player, and a sunroof.  Memory settings, a power passenger seat, heated seats and mirrors, a navigation system, and xenon headlights are some of the add-ons available.  Fun to drive and lots of power and acceleration excite owners of the 2005 Maxima SE, who also like the standard features and overall style.  A wide turning radius and so-so 20/29 fuel economy are some downsides.
