2005 Nissan Frontier 4 Dr LE Crew Cab SB Summary
A smaller 5-foot cargo bed means there's more room in the backseat (eight inches worth) in the four-door 2005 Nissan Frontier LE Crew Cab. The rear-wheel drive family-sized pickup gains 10 inches in its wheelbase for a more comfortable and stable ride, and the new 265-hp, 4.0-liter DOHC V6 with its new 5-speed automatic gives out 284 lb-ft of torque. Combined with dual front airbags, 4-wheel ABS brakes, a double wishbone independent front suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a tire monitor, families feel safe in this pickup. Adding traction control and side impact airbags enhances safety and rates 4 and 5 stars in crash tests.
In addition to a CD player, intermittent wipers, a tachometer, and air conditioning, the 2005 Frontier LE Crew Cab offers full power features, leather trim, and foglights. Compared to its King Cab counterpart, the Crew Cab also gives you automatic headlights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a security system, and a roof rack, all standard. Overhead and front consoles provide extra storage, as does the handy double glove compartment. The bed holds up to 27 cubic feet of cargo, which can be secured with optional Utili-Trak rails and a cargo cover, and supplemented with a bed extender. The Crew Cab is definitely passenger oriented, with options that include heated seats and mirrors, power front seats, leather upholstery, a sunroof, satellite radio, and a CD changer. Power and acceleration is number one with drivers, who also like the style and expert handling. On the minus side are cheap-looking interior materials, a wide turning radius, and the small bed.
