It's easier to ask what's not included with the 2006 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL than what is.  The luxury mid-sized sedan is packed with features and gets new illuminated steering wheel controls this year.  A 265-hp, 24-valve, 3.5-liter DOHC V6 sits under the hood, paired with a 5-speed shiftable automatic, for around 20/28 mpg.  Traction control, 4-wheel ABS, dual front-side and rear side airbags, xenon headlights, foglights, 17-inch alloy wheels, self-leveling headlights, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are standard.  Auto-dimming exterior mirrors and stability control are optional.

The 2006 Maxima 3.5 SL also comes with full power features, power front seats, leather upholstery and leather trim, a compass, a trip computer, a sunroof, power outlets, split-folding rear seats and a trunk pass-through, automatic climate control, heated seats and mirrors, a CD changer with music data, and wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls.  If you need more, available options on the 2006 Maxima 3.5 SL include retractable mirrors, navigation system, memory settings, heated rear seats and steering wheel, and new Bluetooth and satellite radio.  A common complaint on all Maximas is the wide turning radius, and some owners mention early paint chipping.  But the engine power and pickup is exceptional, and the interior roomy comfortable for four passengers.
