The top shelf Eclipse GT gains a 3.0 liter V-6, which generates 205 horsepower and 205 pound-feet of torque.  The V-6 is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and a four-speed automatic with a manual shifter is optional.  Performance upgrades at this trim level include a sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch tires, and four-wheel disc brakes.
