The 2004 Kia Sedona EX gets standard 15-inch alloy wheels this year, but otherwise remains unchanged.  The roomy minivan is powered by a 3.5-liter, 195-hp DOHC V6 engine and 5-speed automatic, and seats seven in three rows of seats.  Storage is provided by the expandable cargo area (up to 128 cubic feet) that features tie downs, a standard roof rack, front and overhead consoles, and 12 cupholders.  Second and third row seats split-fold, but not flat.  They can be removed, however, somewhat cumbersomely.  The front row features captain's chairs.

Standard on the 2004 Sedona EX are full power features, including a power driver's seat (a power passenger seat is optional), dual front airbags, cruise control, a CD player, a garage door opener, foglights and automatic headlights, dual zone climate control, and leather and wood interior accents.  Leather seats will cost you extra, as will a new DVD system.  A sunroof is available only on the EX.  Other options include a rear spoiler and trailer hitch, for up to 3500 pounds of towing capacity.  Owners appreciate all the standard equipment at an affordable price, and they praise the interior room, smooth ride, and solid feel to the minivan.  Complaints mention an uncomfortable driver's seat, poor fuel economy, and limited cargo area with all the seats up.
