2010 Ford Focus SE

A step above the entry-level Focus S trim, the 2010 Ford Focus SE comes equipped with such additional standard features as power windows and door locks, a message center, and map lights. Plus, its four-speaker AM/FM audio system includes Sirius satellite radio, as well as a CD player, an MP3 input jack, and speed-sensitive volume. Other standard features for the five-passenger Ford Focus SE include front cloth bucket seats, air conditioning, compass and outside-temperature readouts, and a tilt steering column. In addition, for 2010 Ford adds a number of new standard features to the Focus SE, including remote keyless entry and the MyKey system, which enables parents to limit the speed of the vehicle and the volume of the audio system when teenagers are driving the car.

The 2010 Ford Focus SE delivers good handling and a smooth ride, thanks to its European-inspired suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. For power, the front-wheel-drive Focus SE sports a 2.0-liter, dual-overhead-cam Duratec 20 inline four-cylinder engine generating 140 hp and 136 lb-ft of torque. The engine links to either a five-speed manual transmission, which comes as standard equipment, or an optional four-speed automatic. Fuel economy numbers for the engine check in at 24/35 mpg with the manual transmission or 24/33 with the automatic. The Focus SE runs on regular gasoline and rides on 15-inch wheels.
